I think as we study Shakespeare with our children, over the long run we go through different phases: Introduction, entertainment, familiarity, and inspiration. We can’t expect our children to be inspired much without out passing through some of the other phases. The more time they spend getting to know his works, the deeper their understanding comes and more “aha’s”.
